NOWBASE is the shared website for the Nordic Medico-Statistical Committee (NOMESCO) and the Nordic Social Statistical Committee (NOSOSCO).
These two committees under the Nordic Council of Ministers are tasked with:

working to ensure that health and social statistics in the Nordic Countries is comparable between countries

gathering statistics within this field

presenting these statistics and making them widely available
